K 2019, known as “The World’s No. 1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber” is the performance barometer for the entire industry and its global marketplace for innovations. K show which happens every 3 years in Düsseldorf, Germany is the “Who’s Who” of the entire plastics and rubber world meeting for 8 days to demonstrate the industry’s capabilities, discuss current trends and set the course for the future. With over 255K attendees, 3000+ exhibitors, 168 countries in attendance and 580K sq ft of exhibition space, we helped ExxonMobil bring their industry expertise to the masses. Work included 270+ pieces of content: branding, marketing, collateral, social, space design, presentations, videos, site design and interactive applications.
K show featured 7 industries and with a space of over 8000 sq feet, we needed to make sure a color system was put in place that all collateral, media, signage would follow. From environmental design, to videos, to presentations, each industry had an icon and color gradient associated with it.
ExxonMobil Tech Talk presentations are showcased at plastics and resins trade shows around the world. Customers come to ExxonMobil for expertise that empowers innovation. The Tech Talk space at K Show featured a 43’ x 9’ curved LED wall behind presentation stage. We worked with ExxonMobil to transform their presentations to a more engaging and interactive format utilizing Prezi. We created an series intro video to be played before each Tech Talk. Intention of video is to spark intrigue and awareness of ExxonMobil’s offerings across all industry sectors, while countdown alerts audience on timing and next topic of discussion.
We worked with ExxonMobil to transform and build their presentations from powerpoint to prezi, a more engaging and interactive format. Using prezi’s non linear format, presenter had total control how to unfold the story based on the audience wants and needs. Each presentation followed color system based on which industry and shared navigational matrix elements. We created 9 presentations, each being about 50-60 slides of content.

ExxonMobil had 88+ products they wanted to showcase in an educational and interactive environment. From the list and size specs of products they wanted featured, we created a 4 wall axis with 55” monitors in center that customers would bring the product or tag (if item was too large) to RFID scanner to unlock content. Content was a mix of short video animations or static screens. All walls, tags and interactive content followed the industry specific color system designed for K show.
